Getting Ready for the Holiday
It was another busy weekend!
Knit group on Saturday was fun! Christy and Brie were making Norberta from the latest Knitty. It is really a cute little guy!
Saturday night my husband and I went to a holiday party. They had the cutest tree all in blue right next to our table. Very festive!
The dinner was nice, the entertainment was enjoyable, and the music was ecclectic! I don't know if that is a good thing, but I did learn some new hip-hop songs! And it was fun watching all the young people dance!
Today we took lots of pictures of ourselves for a holiday card. This is actually our first picture holiday card since we have been married. We just never seem to plan ahead enough, or follow thru maybe. But this was fun! The self-timer on the camera was very helpful. Majc grew bored after the first twenty shots or so. But at least she was staying awake!
And I have another finished object too!
These are helmet liners for a Secret Santa. He is an outdoorsy kinda guy and he will get alot of use out of these. They will keep his bald head warm! Kat asked, "helmet liner? like for a motorcycle helmet?" I was making these last year for some friends that are in the military and were heading overseas. But two of them do ride and were using them for that purpose as well. You can get the pattern here.
Whew, and I finally started my holiday shopping! YEAH!
Hope you had a great weekend too!
