A Big Tea Party
DH and I had the day off together with no real plans, except to do something fun. So we hopped in the truck and drove to Boulder. We heard about the Celestial Seasonings tour and wanted to see what it was all about.
It was so much fun! There was alot that we learned about tea, and it's history, how it is made, and all the flavors. I can't even begin to describe the Mint Room.
But even more than that, is all the original artwork in the gallery.
There was a contest to design teapots. Some are very interesting. They are on display as well.
The best part was the tea sampling. You can taste as many flavors as they have on the "menu" that day. we tasted at least 20 flavors. My favorite was Chocolate Rasberry Bliss. DH liked the Sweet Coconut Thai Chai and the Canadian Vanilla Maple. There were so many interesting flavors! And I am not even a big tea drinker.
more pics here.
So, if you are ever in Boulder, stop by and take the tour...
...even if it's just to see the Sleepytime Bear!
