The park we found is called Paint Mines. We really enjoyed the landscape and gentle slopes.The trail is a bigger loop on the outside with small loops within. We took the outside loop. We heard good things about Waldo Canyon. It was about a 7 mile hike in rugged terrain. The trail was marked well with signs along the way. We grabbed a day pack and took the dog along. The DH and I like to get out and go driving in the mountains. Saturday was no exception! It was a beautiful day.
