Estes Park 2009

As you probably know, Hubby and I go to Estes Park Colorado every year for the Wool Market. Well, this year was no exception. I do enjoy the animals, the food, and the shopping.

But there was something new this year. There were more opportunities to learn new skills without having to sign up for a class. A few vendors were teaching and doing demos. We really enjoyed participating and learned so much!

It rained every night during the weekend we were there this year, but we still got some walks and hikes in. The rain really greened the place up alot! The outdoor activities at Estes are always enhanced with the spectacular views!

On the knitting front, I did finish my little cardigan in plenty of time to take with me on the trip and I wore it several times as the nights are chilly in the mountains.

I took some socks to knit while relaxing at the cabin and on the drive. It has become my tradition to knit a pair of socks while at Estes from Plain & Fancy yarn since I buy it at the wool market every year. This year's pair is in the Stained Glass colorway. Grayce's yarn is so soft and the colors are great.
